Vegetables au gratin


  • Cabbage 500 gr finely chopped
  • Zucchinis 4 finely chopped
  • Potatoes 2 medium sized finely chopped
  • All-purpose flour 2 tablespoons
  • Milk 500 ml
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Eggs 2 items
  • Yellow cheese(kasseri) 100 gr grated
  • Salt - pepper


Wash and chop finely the cabbage,the zucchinis and the potatoes,Season with salt and saute them into a little butter until wilted.Melt the butter in a pan and then add the flour,brown and pour the warm milk gradually.Stir thoroughly,remove the pan from the heat and add the eggs.Stir constantly and add salt,pepper,the sauteed vegetables,half of the grated cheese and stir.Pour the mixture into a buttered roasting pan,sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake at 190 degrees for 20-25 minutes(depending on the oven).As soon as it is baked,let it cool and enjoy.
