Mushrooms a la creme


  • Fresh mushrooms 500 gr white and small
  • Onion 1 finely chopped
  • Olive oil 3 tablespoons
  • Pounded garlic 1 clove
  • White wine 1/2 glass
  • Salt - pepper
  • Heavy cream 250 gr


In a frying pan put the olive oil,the garlic and the onion at low heat.Cut the mushrooms in half and add them in the frying pan before the onions are fully sauteed.Season with salt and pepper and stir.Let them saute until brown.Then add the wine and stir until evaporated and add the heavy cream.Stir constantly and when the sauce is thickened remove it from the heat.Serve them warm and optionally garnish with some finely chopped parsley or Parmesan slices.
