Ingredients
- Chicken 1 whole chicken cut into servings
- Potatoes 1 1/2 kg
- Lemons 3 the juice
- Orange 1 the juice
- Chicken stock cube 1 item
- Olive oil 4 tablespoons
- Mustard 2 tablespoons
- Salt - pepper
- Oregano
- Water 2 glasses
Instructions
Clean the chicken and wash it thoroughly.Peel the potatoes,wash,cut and boil them in a pan with salted water for 5 minutes only(this helps to save some bake time).In a bowl put the lemon and the orange juice,the chicken stock cube,the mustard and the olive oil.Stir until the stock cube dissolves.Season with salt,pepper and oregano the chicken,spread it with some of the olive oil mixture and put it in a roasting pan.Drain and season with salt and pepper the potatoes,then add them to the roasting pan.Pour them over with the remaining olive oil mixture and add the water.Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 60 minutes until brown (during baking turn the chicken so as to brown on both sides).
