Ingredients
- Pork steaks 4 items
- Okra 500 gr
- Onions medium sized 2 items cut into round slices
- Spring onions 2 items cut into round slices
- Peppers red-green 2 items
- Celery 1 stalk finely chopped
- Parsley 1/2 small bunch finely chopped
- Sweet paprika 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil 1/2 cup
- Salt - pepper
- Water 1 cup
- Garlic 2 cloves finely chopped
Instructions
Peel the onions and the spring onions,wash and cut them into round slices.Peel and chop the garlic finely.Wash the peppers,cut them into half rounds and chop the celery and the parsley finely.Wash the steaks,season with salt and pepper and set aside.In a shallow pan heat the olive oil until hot,add the onions,the peppers,salt,pepper for taste,saute until tender,add the okra,do not stir but toss and cook for 7 – 8 minutes.Add the celery and the parsley,the water,simmer for 5 more minutes and place it in a roasting pan.Place on top the seasoned steaks and bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees for 40 minutes.After 30 minutes cover it with some foil.Remove from the oven,let it slightly cool and serve.
