Mushroom balls

Ingredients

  • Mushrooms 1/2 kg
  • Bread crumbs 1 cup
  • Lemon 1 only the juice
  • Strained yogurt 1 cup
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red hot pepper 1 pinch
  • Eggs 2 items
  • Almonds or walnuts grated 1/2 cup
  • Sunflower oil or corn oil for frying

Instructions

Clean the mushrooms and cut them into slices,put them in a bowl and sprinkle them with the lemon juice,stir thoroughly.In another bowl add the bread crumbs,the yogurt,the grated almonds or walnuts,season with salt and pepper,the eggs and beat all the ingredients until the mixture combines.Then add the mushrooms and mix all the ingredients together.In a frying pan add plenty of the sunflower or the corn oil and let it smoke,shape the mixture into balls or oblong pieces and fry them until brown on both sides.When they are ready line them onto absorbing kitchen paper to absorb the excess oil and serve them with strained yogurt.
