Ingredients
- Milk 500 gr
- Heavy cream 250 gr
- Eggs 3 only the yolks
- Corn flour 1 level tablespoon
- Sugar 250 gr
- Mint leaves 1/2 small bunch
- Mint liqueur 4 teaspoon
- Food coloring 2 - 3 drops optional
Instructions
In a bowl beat with an electric mixer the egg yolks, the sugar and cornflour until they white in color. In a pan, heat the milk and the heavy cream,and then add the mixture into the bowl with the yolks and stir. Put this mixture in a pan at low heat and stir constantly until it begins to thicken slightly. Before it thickens remove it from heat and pour it into a bowl.Leave it to cool.In a pot boil water and add the mint leaves without the stems.Blanch them for 2 minutes and with a little milk mash them in the mixer thoroughly.Pour this mixture to the bowl with the other mixture which was left to cool, add the liqueur, and 2-3 drops of food coloring. Mix thoroughly and leave it to freeze in the freezer for 2-3 hours. Serve in small bowls and enjoy it.
* Use the food coloring to give more intense color,so you can add it optionally.
