Ingredients
- Puff pastry 4 sheets
- Mozzarella slices 400 gr
- Tomato sauce (homemade or canned) 2 1/2 cups
- Ham finely chopped 200 gr
- Dry basil 2 tablespoons
- Salt - pepper
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
On a floured surface roll out the puff pastry sheets using a rolling pin,with a cutter (or a knife) cut the puff pastry into different shapes.Using the smaller cutters cut the pasty into smaller same shapes and place them onto the pieces you cut first.Place them in a greased or lined with parchment paper roasting pan.Spread each pastry with tomato sauce,top with finely chopped ham,sprinkle with salt-pepper and dry basil and then top with a slice of mozzarella.Bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.Optionally garnish with some bail leaves and serve.
