Mini cheese pies with bechamel sauce


  • Country style filo pastry 1 package
  • Butter 3 tablespoons
  • All-purpose flour 2 tablespoons
  • Milk 1/2 glass
  • Egg 1 item
  • Feta cheese 50 gr grated
  • Gruyere 50 gr grated
  • Yellow cheese (kasseri) 50 gr grated
  • Pepper
  • Corn oil for frying


In a pan melt the butter at low heat,add the flour,mix and add the milk gradually,whisk constantly until the bechamel sauce thickens.Remove from the heat,add all kinds of cheese,the egg,pepper and mix well.Place a strip of the filling at one end of each filo pastry sheet and roll it up,seal the end of each filo pastry roll so that the filling does not come out and cut them obliquely.Do the same procedure with each filo pastry sheet and the remaining mixture.In a frying pan heat the corn oil and fry them.Place them on kitchen absorbing paper to absorb the excess oil and serve them.
