Mashed cauliflower


  • Cauliflower 1/2 boiled
  • Potatoes 2 items peeled and cut into two pieces
  • Salt - pepper
  • Butter 50 gr
  • Milk 60 ml
  • Nutmeg ground
  • Mustard 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon 1/2 only the juice of the lemon


Remove the leaves of the cauliflower and peel the potatoes,wash them and then boil in salted water with 1 tablespoon of sugar(optional) until they are tender enough but still have a crunch.Drain and cut into smaller pieces.Put them in a blender and smash.Add butter,salt,pepper,mustard,ground the nutmeg(about 1/3 teaspoon) and continue smashing with the blender.Finally,the milk and the lemon juice(the more milk we add,the thinner smash it becomes)and continue smashing.Taste the mixture whether it needs more seasoning with salt and it is ready to be served.

*To prepare more quantity,double the ingredients.
