- Puff pastry 1 cut vertically into two pieces
- Bananas 3 cut into round slices
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Hazelnut praline
- Butter 25 gr
- Egg 1 yolk
In a frying pan melt the butter,add the bananas cut into round slices,saute slightly and add the sugar onto them.Stir carefully until caramelized and let them cool.Cut the puff pastry sheet into two pieces vertically,cut slits apart from the two sides of the pastry(see photos,put in the middle of the pastry sheet the praline,after refrigerating to thicken slightly,place onto it the bananas and then alternate sides folding the slits in to create the braid.Follow the same procedure with the other sheet of pastry.Beat slightly the yolk,dilute it with a little olive oil and spread the braids.Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes approximately until brown.Let them cool,cut into pieces and enjoy.
