Batter fried mussels


  • Mussels 1/2 kg frozen and cleaned
  • Beer 1 can
  • All-purpose flour as much as needed to become batter
  • Salt - pepper
  • Sunflower oil


Defrost the mussels,wash and clean them thoroughly,remove the “beard”.Leave them in a colander to strain.In a small bowl pour the beer,season with salt and pepper and add the flour until it becomes batter.Dip the mussels in the batter.Using a spoon take 3 mussels with batter at a time and fry them into hot oil.
