Home-made hot dog


  • Frankfurter sausages 6
  • Bacon 6 slices
  • Carrot grated
  • Cabbage grated
  • Hot dog buns 6
  • Mustard
  • Ketchup
  • Mayonnaise


Wash the cabbage and grate or chop it. Peel the carrot and grate it. Wrap each sausage with a slice of bacon and bake it in a frying pan or on the grill. Open buns in half and spread mayonnaise on one side. Add the grated cabbage and carrot.Place the sausages on the other side of the bun and add the mustard and the ketchup. This is the basic version of the hot dog.You can add other ingredients of your choice like pickled cucumber chopped or cut in rings etc.
