Two-tone cookies


  • All-purpose flour 3 cups sifted
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Butter 1 cup (not margarine) at room temperature
  • Egg 1
  • Vanilla powder 1
  • Cocoa powder 50 gr


In a bowl put the butter (at room temperature),the sugar,the egg,the vanilla powder and then the flour (sifted).Knead until the dough is pliable and divide it into two pieces.Keep one piece and add to the other piece the cocoa powder and continue kneading until it combines.Shape each piece of dough into thin stripes.Then take a stripe of each color and make small strands or any other shape you want taking advantage of the two colors.Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes only.
