Ingredients
- Ground turkey 1 kg
- Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
- Eggs 2 items
- Onion 1 big item finely minced in the blender
- Potato 1 item finely minced in the blender
- Tomatoes 2 medium-sized items peeled
- Milk 4 tablespoons
- Olive oil 3 tablespoons
- Coriander 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped
- Cumin 1/2 teaspoon
- Oregano 1/2 teaspoon
- Parsley 1 teaspoon finely chopped
- Cheese 100 gr ( Kefalograviera,Parmesan )
- Paprika 1 teaspoon
- Water 1 cup
For the sauce
- Mustard 1 teaspoon
- Yogurt 2 tablespoons
- Balsamic cream 1 tablespoon
- Honey 1 teaspoon
- Ginger 1 pinch
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil 2 tablespoons
Instructions
Ask your butcher to ground 1 kg turkey breast.Put the ground turkey in a bowl,add the bread crumbs and the eggs.In a food processor mince the onion and the potato and add them to the ground turkey with their liquids.Add the grated cheese,the olive oil,the milk,the peeled tomatoes without the seeds,all the herbs,the paprika and salt.Knead well until the mixture is fluffy.Refrigerate the mixture until you shape and bake the meatballs.Shape the meatballs into any size you want ( big or small ),grease a roasting pan and place them in it.Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees.After 15 minutes add a cup of water and continue baking.After 10 minutes turn them on the other side until they brown.The meatballs should remain juicy.
For the sauce : In a bowl mix all the ingredients for the sauce together,add the juice of the meatballs and mix well.
Place the meatballs on a platter,pour the sauce over and serve.Serve with salad.
