Ingredients
Dough
- Self-raising flour 3 glasses
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Water as much as needed
Stuffing
- Minced meat from flank 300 gr
- Onion 1 item chopped
- Salt - pepper
Frying
- Sunflower seed oil or corn oil
Instructions
In a deep bowl put the flour and the salt,add water gradually while kneading until the dough does not stick in your hands(adding more water or flour as necessary).Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.In a bowl put the minced meat,the chopped onion,the salt and pepper and knead thoroughly.After 20 minutes divide the dough into pieces a little bigger than a nut and using a rolling pin to roll them out one by one on a floured surface.Spoon a portion of the filling on the half of each circle,fold dough in half and pinch edges together. Press the edges to seal the filling in the dough.Follow the same procedure with all the remaining ingredients.Heat the sunflower seed oil or corn oil in a frying pan and fry the pies until golden brown.Place on paper-towels to absorb the excess oil and they are ready to be served.
