- Quaker oats 1 cup
- All-purpose flour 5-6 cups sifted
- Water 2 cups warm
- Dry yeast 1 sachet or 30 gr fresh
- Honey 2 1/2 tablespoons
- Salt 1 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil 2 tablespoons
In a bowl soak the Quaker oats in the warm water for 30 minutes approximately.Dissolve the yeast in 1/2 cup of lukewarm water.Add the olive oil,the honey,salt and the dissolved yeast to the Quaker oats and mix.In a bowl sift the flour and add all the ingredients.Knead until the dough does not stick to your hands.Shape the dough into loaves and place them in a greased roasting pan.Pierce them in several places with a fork,cover and put them in a warm place until the dough doubles.Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes approximately,depending on the oven.Remove the roasting pan from the oven and turn it upside down on some parchment paper.Let the bread loaves cool and enjoy them.
