Ingredients
- Eggs 5 separate the yolks
- Butter 70 gr
- Self-rising flour 2 full tablespoons
- Orange zest 3 tablespoons
- Sugar 1/4 cup
- Grand Marnier 1/2 cup
- Heavy cream 1/4 cup
- Milk 1/2 cup
Instructions
Melt the butter at low heat.Sift the flour and add it to the butter stirring for 2 minutes.Remove from the heat and add the sugar stirring constantly,the orange zest,the liqueur,the milk and the heavy cream.Bring to a boil again until thickened. Remove from the heat and let it cool.Add the yolks one by one.Beat the whites until they hold stiff peaks and add them to the mixture with gentle and circular movements.Butter some molds (approximately 6 servings) and pour the mixture into them.Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes approximately until they rise and brown on top.Sprinkle with caster sugar and serve.
