Ingredients
- Corn oil 1 1/2 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Orange juice 1 1/2 cup
- Baking powder 3 level teaspoons
- Baking soda 1 teaspoon
- Cognac 6 tablespoons
- Orange zest 1 orange
- All-purpose flour 1 1/2 kg approximately
- White sesame seeds for sprinkle
Instructions
In a deep bowl beat the corn oil and the sugar,add the orange juice,the cognac,the orange zest and then the flour with the baking soda and the baking powder.Knead thoroughly until the dough is tender.Shape the dough into round cookies or into different shapes using small spring from tins and dip them into the sesame seeds.Line them into a roasting pan and bake at medium heat for 30 minutes approximately.Take care not to overbake them,bake until slightly brown.
