Ingredients
- Beef shoulder 1 kg cut into big pieces
- Carrots 4 peeled
- Potatoes 4 peeled
- Celery 2-3 ribs
- Salt - pepper
- Olive oil 2- 3 tablespoons
- Vegetable stock cube 1 item
- Orzo pasta 1/2 cup (or ditalini pasta)
- Onion 1 whole to taste
- Water
Instructions
Wash the meat thoroughly,put it in a pressure cooker half filled with water and bring to a boil.Skim off the foam that is produced and then add the carrots,the potatoes,the celery,the olive oil,the vegetable stock cube,the onion,season with salt and pepper and simmer for 30 minutes in the pressure cooker(or for 60 minutes in the pan).Simmer the meat until tender.When it is ready remove the potatoes,the carrots,and the meat and add the orzo to boil until tender (if you want add some water and add the meat,the carrots and the potatoes again to remain warm).Serve it warm,optionally add some lemon.
