Ingredients
- Ground turkey 600 gr
- Onions 2 medium-sized
- Garlic 1 clove
- Eggs 2
- Bread crumbs 100 gr
- Bacon 3 slices
- Mustard 1 tablespoon
- Fresh spearmint 1 small bunch finely chopped
- Salt - pepper
- Caul fat for wrapping
- Lemon juice 1
Instructions
Chop the bacon finely and saute it in a frying pan,do not add any olive oil.Then add the finely chopped onions and the crushed garlic.Saute until brown and remove from the heat,let them cool.Mix the ground turkey with the sauteed mixture,add the spearmint,the olive oil,the mustard,the eggs and the bread crumbs.If necessary add a little water.Shape into meatballs and wrap them with the caul fat soaked in water and the lemon juice for 1 hour.Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. ( You can also cook them on the grill )
