Eggplant wrapped beef bites

Ingredients

  • Diced beef 1 kg
  • Eggplants approximately 5
  • Regato cheese grated
  • Finely chopped onions 2 big
  • Finely chopped tomatoes 1 tin
  • Bay leaves 3
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Saute the onion with the meat and add the spices and the tomato.Cook until tender enough.Fry the eggplants and when the meat is cool wrap each piece with an eggplant stripe.Stick a toothpick in to keep from up wrapping while cooking and lay them into a roasting pan.Pour the broth of the cooked meat and the grated cheese on top.Bake for 45 minutes approximately at 180 degrees.
