Chocolate and strawberry roll


  • Butter 125 gr
  • Caster sugar 100 gr
  • Cocoa powder 50 gr
  • Petit beurre biscuits 1/2 package crumbled
  • Strawberries 6 - 7 remove the end of each strawberry
  • Brandy 1/2 small cup
  • Almonds 2 tablespoons crumbled
  • Almond slivers for sprinkle optional


In a blender crumble the almonds and the biscuits.In a saucepan melt the butter,add the caster sugar and stir at low heat.Add the cocoa powder,stir until all the ingredients combine and remove from the heat.Pour the brandy into the mixture,add the crumbled almonds and biscuits,mix them and refrigerate until the mixture thickens.When the mixture is thickened line a piece of transparent film on the kitchen counter,spread on it half of the mixture,place a line of strawberries(remove the end of each strawberry so that they remain one next to the other when you line them) and top with the remaining mixture.Roll it up and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.Later sprinkle with the almond slivers(optional),cut the roll into pieces and enjoy.
