Ingredients
- Yogurt 1 glass
- Corn oil 1 glass
- Egg 1 item
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- All-purpose flour as much as needed
- Anise for sprinkle optionally
For the filling
- Bacon 150 gr cut into strips
- Mustard 2 tablespoons
- Kefalograviera cheese 150 gr cut into strips
Instructions
In a deep bowl add the yogurt,the corn oil,the egg,the baking powder,salt and add gradually as much flour as needed until the dough becomes elastic and does not stick to your hands.Cover it and let it aside for half an hour,then using a rolling pin roll it out into a sheet 1 cm thick.Cut it into strips ( 2 cm approximately ) and spread each strip with mustard.Place the bacon and cheese pieces onto the dough strips.Twist the strips and place them in a roasting pan lined with parchment paper.Sprinkle with anise and bake inn preheated oven at 170 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes until they brown.
