Stuffed sweets made of beer

Ingredients

  • Olive oil 2 glasses
  • Beer 1 glass
  • Self-rising flour 1 kg
  • Orange 1 only the zest
  • Salt a pinch
For the syrup
  • Sugar 2 glasses
  • Water 2 glasses
  • Honey 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice 1 1/2 teaspoon
For the filling
  • Jam or sweet conserves or almond kernel or shelled walnuts any jam you desire

Instructions

In a bowl put the olive oil,the beer,the orange zest,the salt and the flour gradually,knead until the dough becomes pliable and does not stick to the hands(if necessary add  some more flour).Roll out on your palm a small piece of the dough and using a teaspoon fill it with jam or almond kernel or shelled walnuts or sweet conserves cut into pieces.Seal the dough edges together and give any shape you desire.Line the sweets into a slightly greased roasting pan,place them upside down on the side you filled them so that they do not open in the roasting pan.Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes(depending on the oven).Remove from the oven and let them cool.

For the syrup : In the meanwhile prepare the syrup.In a pan add the water,the sugar,the honey,the lemon juice and boil for 10 minutes since boiling point.After removing the sweets from the oven,let them cool and pour them over with the warm syrup.Keep unrefrigerated.
