Ingredients
- Kataifi pastry 450 gr
- Butter 300 gr
- Mozzarella cheese 250 gr
- Gruyere 150 gr grated
- Country sausages 1 package cut into round slices
- Cream cheese 200 gr
- Tomato 1 big finely chopped
- Onion 1 big finely chopped
- Eggs 2 items
- Milk 1/2 glass
- Salt - pepper - oregano
Instructions
Defrost the kataifi pastry,put it into two separate bowls,tear apart the shreds,melt 250 gr butter and add it to the bowls with the kataifi pastry.Stir thoroughly and brush the kataifi shreds with the butter.Melt the remaining butter(50 gr) in a frying pan,add the finely chopped onion and saute.Add the round slices of sausages and saute for 2-3 minutes.Then add the tomato,salt,pepper,oregano and stir,add the cheese,stir and the stuffing is ready.In a bowl beat the milk with the eggs.Butter a cake pan,spread the half of the kataifi on the bottom and the sides of the cake pan,add the stuffing,cover with the rest of the kataifi,press it slightly with your hand and pour ti over with the mixture of the milk and the eggs.Let it for 20 minutes and then bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 60 minutes approximately until golden brown.Let it cool and serve.
